What does FormuNova do?
We are a US-based manufacturer of Beauty & Personal Care Cosmetic products, serving innovative brands ready to scale.
Equipped with in-house Product Development and Manufacturing infrastructure, we design and manufacture all of our products in Stone Mountain, GA, just outside of Atlanta.
We can also offer formulation, fulfillment, design, supply-chain optimization, and regulatory & compliance support services for Beauty & Personal Care brands (subject to capacity availability).
Can I customize a private label product?
Yes. Packaging and ingredient customization is available. If your brand is already running high sales volumes, to discuss our turnkey manufacturing and supply chain management options.
Pre-launch and early-stage brands can customize labels with custom branding and logo, all included in our base prices, explore further packaging customization options, or learn more about our custom formulation services for ingredient customization.
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
Our MOQ for Private Label options in general is 140 units with standard packaging and 500 units with custom packaging.
Specific higher MOQs may be listed on each product page when applicable.
What is the expected lead time?
Our typical lead time for Private Label orders is 4 to 6 weeks.
Lead time for custom manufacturing varies according to demand. Our team will help you manage lead times.
For established brands we can offer turnkey supply chain management services, with dedicated production capacity starting at 1,000 units per week.
How will my orders be delivered?
Your orders will be delivered in bulk (individual cases or pallets, depending on the quantity). We can deliver directly to FBA, FBT or to your 3PL, warehouse or any preferred location.
We can ship via LTL freight carriers or UPS. All prices are EXW.
Freight dimensions will be provided in coordination with our operations team so you can arrange freight with your freight broker or we can, optionally, coordinate freight on your behalf and schedule LTL freight or UPS pickups.
Please note additional FBA prep / FBT prep or secondary packaging handling can be provided, but are not included in our base private label prices.
Can anyone launch a new brand?
With enough preparation, yes. If you are at the start of your brand journey, we will guide you through the first steps.
We offer very low minimum order requirements for new brands and we are equipped to help you scale.
Where are your products made?
All of our products are made in our GMP-certified, FDA-registered manufacturing facility in Stone Mountain, GA, just outside of Atlanta.
We design and manufacture all of our products in-house. With us you will source your products 100% directly from the manufacturer, without middlemen.
What is the minimum budget I should plan for?
Established brands: reach out for a tailored quote aligned to your volume. Getting started: the absolute minimum is around $2,000, though most launches require $5,000 to $10,000 at minimum; a more competitive small private label launch typically falls in the $10,000 to $30,000 range, not including marketing and fulfillment costs.
Are your products approved by the FDA?
FormuNova is a cosmetic manufacturing company. Unlike for drugs and medications, the FDA does not offer or require FDA review or approval for cosmetic products.
Our cosmetic manufacturing facility is registered with the FDA and we follow strict quality and compliance protocols.

What documentation is provided by FormuNova?
We are on top of the FDA requirements as well as requirements from online and physical retail platforms like Amazon, Walmart, CVS, and Shopify.
For each SKU we provide a Finished Product Specification Sheet, Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided for each batch.
We can also provide GMP Certification (NSF/ANSI 455-3), FDA Registration, Proof of Inventory, Cosmetic Product Ingredient Statement and other documentation as requested by retail platforms.
